Workshops for 2009

My goal in giving these get-away retreats is to provide you with beautiful places that open doors to inner and outer peace, creativity, joy, and contentment. I love nature, I love music, I love the quiet voice of Spirit that moves us in our world. I love dancing, laughing, good food, and yoga, and harmony of all these things together. Lastly, we are too busy and too stressed, so leaving your environment and going where where your "fans" cannot access you is a restorative treat.

If you are looking for something eclectic, surprising, and relaxing, consider one of the many workshops I plan to give in 2009. Some will be local to the Bay Area, some will be out of the state or country. I am including a chakra balancing workshop, Solstice Celebration on Mt. Diablo, 4th Annual Food Fest in July, a Pacific Northwest Adventure in August, and maybe another trip to the Yucatan in November. . Oh, and be sure and sign up early for the San Damiano Retreat in September as it is already filling up. More details will be coming soon.

Policy changes: All workshops have minimum requirements for participation which must be met 5 weeks before the date or it will be cancelled. There is a maximum attendance as well. Deposits are non-refundable(unless the event is cancelled), with full payment due 5 weeks prior to the event. If something unexpected arrives, your payment, minus deposit, will be returned if it is before the 5 week prior deadline. The sooner I know, the sooner I can make reservations to accommodate you. San Damiano Retreat

September 25-27

Find your own inner sanctum as we do yoga, dance, meditate, and relax in late September. The bell rings when the meals are ready. Mt. Diablo will have you in direct eye contact. There are trails that lead to the Las Trampas wilderness, or a labyrinth for personal introspection. All of this, and it’s right in our own backyard. It is time to balance the stress and invest time in yourself. Join Morning Star for a memorable weekend, including a special treat of Laughter Yoga with Jillian Standish.

Cost: Shared room, $295. Private, $325, (Sat. only $150) $100 deposit secures your spot. Remainder due by August 15, 2009.
Limit: 18 for the weekend. 10 for only Saturday. Prices include all classes and meals. Chair massage by the minute, extra.
